30 Days of Praise: Day 6 - My Parents

I bet some of you are wondering why it has taken me this long to get to my parents. Well... I had some praises that I knew I had to include, but I wanted to space them out over the 30 days. One of the biggest praises in my life is that I have amazing God loving, following, and honoring parents.

Proverbs 17:6
Children's children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children.

I don't have any children, and definitely no children's children, but I do take pride in my parents. My mother and father have shown me what it is to love (one another, me and God). They are authentic and real. I have seen my dad struggle with surrendering me into my heavenly Father's care. I have seen my mom's constant love for me through my peaks and valleys. I do not deserve to have such wonderful parents. I do not know why God choose them for me and me for them, but I am SO grateful. I am humbled and honored to have them. Love you momma and daddy!!!
