I have had two incident lately that leave me speechless (but not thoughtless) at the cruelty of people.
1. A few weeks ago, I was driving to church for a service and a bunch of teenagers thought it would be fun to start throwing tiny rocks at my car. After the first one I looked over and they had all ducked down(except the innocent looking driver). As I continued to look, they came up laughing. At a later light as I was going straight and they were turning (because I did not want them behind me)... they threw more.
2. A similar looking car (may have been the same, don't know for sure though) was next to me at a stop light about a half hour ago and yelled something at me. When I looked over the kid in the passenger seat had raised his shoulders causing himself to have a double chin and was pointing at his neck then me laughing.
I will tell you my response... but first what would yours have been??

Oh, Tina, what a sad story! People can be so cruel. I'm actually really sad for them because I believe they don't even understand why that behavior was not OK. I can't believe it. I have no idea how I would have responded. I think it would really depend on how I was doing on that particular day. I have to think about this... What did you do?
Tina - my heart breaks for you. I'm also angry on your behalf. What ignorant, poorly-raised hoodlums. I'm so sorry. That just sucks!!! I don't knwo what I would have done, probably buried it and tried to keep on going. Definitely try and get the license if you can.
