While in Atlanta I really wanted to check out one of Andy Stanley's churches. I have been following faithfully for about 2 years Carlos Whittaker's blog: www.ragamuffinsoul.com He works at the Buckhead campus, so mom and I headed there this morning. I saw Carlos and got a pic with him. It was a brief encounter, but so fun. Andy's sermon was so good. It was about how when we approach God with prayer in the hard times, "He knows" what we are talking about b/c He has gone through it before. He used Hebrews 4:14-16. Great service!
